Collection: Adidas
Adidas was founded in 1949 by Adolf "Adi" Dassler in Germany. In the early 1950s, its football boots with interchangeable studs helped West Germany win the 1954 FIFA World Cup, propelling the brand into the sports world.
In the 1960s and 70s, Adidas expanded into various sports and became a cultural icon, with shoes like the Superstar adopted by athletes and musicians such as Run-D.M.C. During the 1990s and 2000s, the brand innovated with new technologies and design collaborations, such as the Y-3 line with Yohji Yamamoto.
In the 2010s, Adidas became a leader in the limited-edition sneaker market with highly successful collaborations, most notably with Kanye West for the Yeezy line. Other collaborations with Pharrell Williams, Beyoncé, and BAPE further solidified its role in the high-fashion sneaker sector.
Today, Adidas continues to innovate and influence pop culture through collaborations and limited editions, maintaining a balance between sporting tradition and modern trends.
